I went with all the required documents mention in USCIS site for H4 visa on the day of interview.
My interview was at 10.30Am but i was there by 8.00Am only. The security person asked me sit aside till 9.30 Am.Then at 9.30 Am i joined the big queue where everyone is standing. The security guy has seen my interview letter, confirmed my name, date and time of interview and sent me in.
Then inside i have to give my purse, bangles if wearing metalic one, belt if any, shoes if any ,putting all in one tray. Then they scanned my all items and me separately and sent me in.
Then after going inside, one guy asked me whether i have submitted documents before 4 days or not?
since i submitted i was allowed to other queue and people who didn't submitted before 4 days where allowed to stand in other queue to submit the documents.
Then i was told to stand in one queue where the indian officers are at the counters to verify all the documents before sending us in.
He verified my documents which i submitted before 4 days and asked if i lost my passport before.
I said since i lost my passport before. Then he asked me to sit for a while since he calls me.
After 10 minutes he called me and gave me a file of documnets and showed me the direction to go.
Then i was given a token with a number on it.
Within 1 minute i was called for the interview at counter where american consulate officers will be sitting.

VO:Please give me your passport.
Me:Given
VO:Who is your husband employer.
